Weekly Social Nights

Our social dance nights need to be seen to be believed!  Boasting participation from a wide array of age groups and experience levels, we offer one of the most affordable and welcoming entertainment options in the city. We have a rotation of excellent group class instructors, a carefully curated course curriculum, and fantastic DJs.

Location, Cost, and Times

The location for both Tuesdays and Thursdays is Cabaret Arts & Social Theatre, located near 91st & Metcalf (9050 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66212).

Group classes (included in the $15 cost for the night) start at 7 pm and social dance typically starts around 8-8:30 pm.

You do not need to bring a partner to attend, nor do you need previous dance experience, plus your first night in the building is just five bucks! Discounted memberships also available.

Tuesday Schedule

The content of the first part of the Tuesday schedule, typically from 7-8 pm, rotates from week to week. Social dance time follows till 9:30 pm each week.

7-8 pm Rotating Content (see below)
Week 1 - Leveled Classes (Levels 1 & 2)
Week 2 - Leveled Classes (Levels 1 & 2; Level 2 will have a "Move of the Month" this week)
Week 3 - Guided Practice (Levels 1 & 2)
Week 4 - Mini Private Lessons -- super-popular, so come at 6:45 pm to sign up for a 5-min slot or two with our amazing instructors, volunteering their time to serve the community!
8-9:30 pm Social Dance & Community Practice

Thursday Schedule

7 pm - Check-in, warm up, and join us for open floor practice!
7:30-8:30 pm - Leveled Classes (Levels 1-3)
8:30-11 pm - Social Dance Party (announcements around 9 pm)
